OVERVIEW
Kelly Industrial Supply is a growing, family-owned industrial parts wholesaler looking for a relationship-driven field representative to manage and grow a territory, which may include parts of eastern PA, NJ, DE, and northern MD. Territory coverage will be determined based on business needs and candidate’s location/preferences. This is a service-first role, with a primary focus on account management / Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and secondary focus on new customer sales.
You will become a trusted partner to MRO customers, manufacturers, contractors, fleets, and more by keeping critical products organized, replenished, and available when needed. You will learn how each customer operates, anticipate inventory needs, recommend the right fasteners and industrial supplies, and help keep their operations moving.
If you already have industrial B2B VMI sales experience, perfect. If you are a parts specialist ready to move into a customer-facing role, we will train you on the rest.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage existing industrial and MRO accounts through scheduled face-to-face service calls and strong relationship management.
- Run VMI programs at customer sites by checking stock levels, replenishing bins and cabinets, organizing products, and helping maintain clean, labeled storage areas.
- Learn each customer's operation, usage patterns, and pain points so you can anticipate needs and keep the right products in the right place at the right time.
- Write replenishment orders, quotes, and follow-up recommendations based on customer usage, upcoming jobs, and product application needs.
- Provide hands-on product support and practical solutions for fasteners, shop supplies, and related industrial/MRO items.
- Keep accurate records in CRM, including customer visit notes, schedules, quotes, open orders, and expenses.
- Identify expansion opportunities inside existing accounts and selectively open aligned new accounts where our service model is a strong fit.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Mechanical aptitude or industrial/MRO background is a plus, but not required — we'll train the right person
- Comfortable learning new tools, including CRM software and basic technology
- Self-starter who thrives with independence and enjoys building relationships
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when restocking bins and cabinets
